Bureau RD-Congo
Sous l’impulsion d’une volonté manifeste des différents acteurs qui œuvrent pour la lutte contre le cancer du sein en Afrique, un bureau LALUCAS a été mis en place à Kinshasa (RD-Congo) en novembre 2022. Ce bureau a pour objectif de faciliter la mise en œuvre de nos activités au sein du pays de même que la collaboration avec les décideurs et les organisations déjà existantes

Sara has worked in education for 25 years, starting as an English language teacher, moving into teacher training (including being a CELTA trainer for ten years), school leadership and then consultancy.
On her professional journey she has specialised in intercultural understanding, inclusion, language teaching and school leadership.
Sara has lived and worked in Uganda, Spain, Portugal, the Maldives and the UK. She is currently an inspector with the British Council and a volunteer for charity organisations specialising in teaching and supporting children in need in Africa.
Alan has a BA in psychology, MEd in special education, and an EdS in school (educational) psychology. He holds USA licensure as both a special education teacher and school psychologist, as well as registration as an educational psychologist in the UK with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Over the past 25 years he has worked as a special education teacher and educational psychologist in the USA, Belgium, Spain and the UK. Throughout his career, Alan has endeavoured to be strengths-based in his approach, and to promote inclusion of young people with special educational needs.
